Accomplishment for 2010

Here's one last post for 2010 with some pictures. I'm just going to vaguely run through my personal accomplishments for this year. *note - pictures are salvaged from FB so quality suck balls. do not enlarge to view!! lol

1. I found my BABY PICTURE !! on the left. then SOMEONE found my fatty CF camp photo during highschool. I got so depressed with my undefined shape so I took drastic measures. 

Tadaaaa. so ugly I know. I'm going for Gym nowadays to get a little bluky ;) just to tone up. 

Tried a different hairstyle long ago but, I'm not too sure if it suites me.

1.1 Colour me

This is the current me and this picture actually means ALOT. Those who knows me well, would notice what's wrong at the very 1st look. 

I'm wearing GREEN !!! I'm a guy who has a BLACK closet so ... this is one big CHANGE for me !! I saw this very cute tee-shirt so I bought it. It's a burger yes, Nigel bought it too, but his was a HotDog.

1.2 Hoby

During our football "training" , we decided to grab my DSLR to make full use of the extreme 6 FPS to make a profile of our football signature. I personally love this shot. I suck in football long ago, I'm starting to play well with the team. That's an accomplishment for me !

2.0 Taekwondo life

My previous "academy centre" in Taman Megah has shifted and now we're in SS2 ABOVE MCD !! 3rd floor. Yes, this is one academy established by me and my friends. We helped each other to set it up and got the place running, with one purpose in common - PASSION. Kok Keong is the biggest share holder since he came out with all the money so we used to come out with man power. E.X Taekwondo is our Team Name.

We are the awesome people. Need to fight ? call 1-800-helpme-god

2.1 Team training

We had the opportunity to train with the Korean National Team past June. It's the same guys where you see during olympics and SEA Games. 

Yes, part of the Korean National Taekwondo Team came down to Malaysia for a small crash course to torture us. I'm glad I didn't wasted that opportunity to kill myself there with those tiring yet effective routines. 

3.0 Places

3.1 My college peeps live fuhreaking far away and we're like in a different ZONE. But it was cool because we still get together once in awhile and it was awesomest when we went to Pulau Redang together. It was, ze bomb.

3.2 As for my gang, we manage to climb Broga hill in 2010. It was nothing compared to what we've been through together in Sabah and Sarawak. hahaha. confident sial. But the view was not too bad up there. good place to visit to spend some quality time with friends. 

4.0 Farewells 

4.1 Sean Ryan - Left to Canada during Aug and he'll be there for a good 3 years atleast. I miss him plenty and it's fuhreaking far away. 12 hours behind us. 

4.2 Lik man - one of our gang member has left. to Germany. Land of .... pork ? beef ? He'll be there for 6 months for culinary and will be coming back with a whole lot of German recipes. ( chicks as well too )

He left too sudden and we didn't had time to prepare ourselves for it but it's gonna be just 6 months, nothing will change !

5.0 Peepssss

Jia kent is doing well in his guitaring and singing. I remember back in Highschool he used to ask how to play the guitar and he was so determined to learn and now here he is, performing here and there. Rock on dude !! I'm proud of you really. But most importantly, his gig was the one where he became a connection between his taylors gang and our gang. 

Now this is how I met these awesome people. Introducing the Taylors people. ( some are absent )

Slowly, we got closer and thats how my network of friends stretched. 

a bunch of awesome people I met and never regret knowing them. infact, I'm glad.

She is one "independent" girl that I adore. She is one LOVELY friend that will fill you in with love and gets you falling in love spending time with her

This is Philip on the left and Suzuki in the middle. They are one big time awesome dudes. They drove me crazy and hyped up most of the time

This is the night where we could just spend HOURS talking outside along with Sheena. till 5 in the morning. felt great.

This Section 5# is my favourite because these are the people that I got to know who gave me new sparks in life. I get the drive to just spend time with them. rock on people !

I've got a lot more college peeps but i got no time to curi photos to post it up.

6.0 College

I finished up my Foundation in Science earlier this Aug and I'm surely missing those times I had back in those days. I remember staying up whole night with my peeps just to finish up our video. 

and we got caught sleeping at the back of the class. KANTOI !!!

Manage to "surprise" the twins for their birthday just before they go europe and celebrate their actual birthday. Had this dinner in WIP in Bangsar. This is the awesomest pair of twins I've met by far. Most left in Blue and Most left in Purple. Yes they are a pair of boy-boy and girl-girl. How awesome. Yit Jun and Siu Yen.

7.0 Awesome Randomest time

After a movie in 1U about 1am we got bored so we decided to drive up to Genting and it's just the 5 of us with 1 guitar and 1 camera. Tired shit but cool shit.

This is Shiat teen, monyet ! She's one happy-go-lucky girl that runs on sugar only. Hyper Active kid haha

8.0 Work

My very first event job, Hennesy Artistry. Worked as a server but I got paid off pretty well including tips.

2nd event Job for 7 days, quite a good pay but it was just to kill some time during my "slacking period" Traveled all over KL within 7 days and It was fun. 

To sum it up, all I can say is, 2010 had been awesome to me overall. Greatest gift from God, was he has awarded me with wonderful people in this world to fill in my empty heart and taught me how to love.

You know who I'm talking about ;) you know who you are. I love you all banyak banyak

Call it a day for 2010

I'm going to call it a day, just a second before the clock hits 12 in the middle of the night, telling myself that, it's over. 2010 is over.

I am posting this now because I know, new-year's eve no one will be free enough to blog or play FB. I've been spending my last few nights of 2010 browsing through my historical ancient diary ( laptop ) for photos. It brings back fond memories. Call me weird but I love going through photos over and over again. My Harddisk is my diary, it's filled with tons and tons of photos, it's for me to look back and remind myself of my good old days when I grow old one day. Every picture tells a story.

It'll be bullshitting if it's a perfect year for me, 2010 flew by really quick again. I didn't had a chance to prepare myself. There're ups and downs throughout this year, moments of joy and times that hurts. Disappointments scattered on my very calender, yet there's satisfaction.

I'm really glad I made new friends in 2010, mostly from Taylors University ( my future uni ) huurayyy ! I've met extremely awesome people and extremely pathetic people but fortunate enough for me, I had a big bunch of awesome friends that gave me a whole new adventure with a different exposure and experiences.

So, look back at your photographs and look how much things have changed. It's a pity for some but life goes on. Appreciate what you have and don't regret for what you've not held tight when you had a chance. Friends come and go, true friends never leave. Look ahead for a new year. 

A Sad Picture

Melaka Jonker Streets, is where I found this lil girl. At this age, we were having fun playing toys, watching tv, traveling around or spend some quality time with the family laughing off something silly. She didn't seem like she had a chance to experience some of our luxurious childhood days, where you get a Nanny or a maid to just get you water from the kitchen. 

I felt pity, when I saw a frail and puny girl, biting on her jaw, crossing her knees that gives you an immediate impression where she is starving. She looks weak enough, yet she has to help her mom with her business, she spends her night whacking those rock hard candy instead of playing with her sisters and friends, just to make sure she gets food on the table tomorrow morning. Not like I'm filthy rich, but I contribute and do what I can, I bought a packet of those rock-hard-candy. 

Sometimes, I just don't know who to go to when I have problems. Sometimes, I just have no one to go to. 

Jolly Christmas

Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New Year.

Christmas Eve, I spent this very day of 2010 sending my friend off to Germany. Lik Man. He won't be gone for long but we've not gotten use to days without him just yet. God bless and may you get the best out of this trip bro.

Christmas, presents, and ofcourse a green hairy thing that you call a TREE. Feel the warmth and love of this jolly season. Spread the love to your friends and family and let laughter put a smile on everyone's face.

Mirror's Mirror

This is what I did during my "slacking period ". 

Mirrors Magazine Soft Launch in Mist Club Bangsar. It was one of the many events I attended since my very last post. ( i know it's very long ago, trying to not get lazy with the pictures now so I'll get more posts )

I'm pretty proud enough to tell the world Sheena Liam is one of me friend ! She's awesome and she's amazing. She's a model and she's stunning. Not to mention she's almost taller than me without heals.

Anyways, yes, she is one of the models for this magazine and she's the 1st runner up competing for Mirror's Magazine Ambassador. Thats good enough. 

Look at her very beloved friends who went to support her.

Anyways, the best part comes after. It's always after. The after party =)

Headed back to Mist and the music suck balls so we flew to MOS to party. It was lady's night, so yeah as usual it's JAM PACKED with people inside.

Nevertheless, I had a heck of a fun that night. chilled at Saji till it was 5am. A long talk can never get boring.

To the amazing Sheena Liam : Congrats for winning and all the best ahead. You're as awesome as we are to you. ;)

8 hours of work. 15 hours of time. 1 night of a blast, 1 night of an experience. It was cool.

Well, this long break is killing me. I'm not bored, I'm just lonely. Someone pointed that out to me tho. I just hope all my sacrifices and efforts are appreciated at all means. Bros over Hoes don't exists anymore these days ? I practice it tho. I should just disappear for a moment since there's no place for me over here. Finding a Job SOON =]

Cousins from Australia and UK are back and I'll post a picture of my cute lil nephew. Mix Greek and Chinese. Awesome cute.

Hennessy Artistry

Hennessy Artistry 23rd Oct 2010 located at MIECC [ Mines International Exhibition Convention Centre ] 

The party was amazingly awesome. It's strictly 21 and above tho so this time for an experience I decided to work there with a whole bunch of friends. Servers, bartenders and ushers. 

Servers - RM 100 [ + tips from rich clients ]

Ushers - Guys - RM 100 [ + getting touched / approached by girls / GUYS ] haha friend kena gay uncle

              Girls - RM 200 + ? [ apparently the lesser u wear the higher your pay ? ] If only i'm a girl =)

Me, nigel, Cruz, Philip, Wei Wen, John was part of the crew, over there met a whole bunch of people that we know. Including our teacher's son ! Well, it was tiring, standing there for almost a whole 8 hours with trays and cups and carrying stuffs around. There's 5 sections. V-S-O-P platforms, each are VIP sections and drinks are free flow. The ground flour needs coupons for drinks. I was assign to section O which will be filled with Journalist and Media parties. So, they are rich people ! So, that also means I will get more tips ! But the ground floor needed extra crew because it is blardy pack and trust me it is really busy. Servers and Bartenders work non-stop for 6 hours +. NOT A SINGLE MINUTE to actually slack off. I didn't even tak toilet break. It was a great experience tho, because towards the end of the night, the party got pumped up by Kardinal Official and Dj Alex Dreamz and trust me, everyone, EVERYONE is having a fun time working / partying inside. It was a one hell of a party.

We have all sorts of stories such as , Sugar daddies harassing their "daughters" in public, make out everywhere, a few KO on the floor [ drank too much ], some got drunk and wanted to pick a fight, attitude problem customers, beautiful people everywhere, girls and guys, hot and cute, pretty and beautiful name it all. Big shots from different companies, international Hennessy members were there too. 

Left our work place at 4.30 after we collected our pay, limping our way to the car, I drove. How unlucky. I was tipsy, tired, drained out, exhausted, thirsty, having sore legs and yeah. But its cool. We went over to McD in sunway for breakfast at 5am and I only got home about 6am. Woke up at 9am for futsal =] Iron man much.

Awesome drinks, at the end of the day, we all get to drink it from the store =] I think I am addicted to alcohol [ according to my mother's description ] =.= 

Nutella Craze

The Nutella craze infected all of us. Bought a bottle of Nutella while grocery shopping last week with the usual gang, and had a cook out session in shiat teen's place. Before we even left the carpark Nigel raped my Nutella bottle. First thing when we arrived back to Shiat teen's place everyone sapu my Nutella like some barbaric monster. But well, at least everyone enjoyed. Nigel was eating it with his, orgasm looks as usual so i decided to take an orgasmic picture of the Nutella  =D 

Gelataria

Me, WeiChun and LikMan headed down to Gelataria once again but this time, it was for wc's project. He needed some photos for his assignments. At the same time, we head down to taste those delicious mouth watering heart melting ice-cream from Italy. Trust me, I've bragged enough about them and they are still awesome. They have awesome flavours that tutti frutti doesn't have. This is in Kota Kemuning, for those who wants to get there contact me :)

Realize the ice-cream fridge doesn't have chunks of ice forming inside, there's no fog on the window, but it is -17 degrees. this is because they have to keep it extremely dry, unlike the ice-cream we get outside which is WET and humid. You got that right, the shop is air conditioned 24/7 to keep the air dry to match the weather in Italy. Apparently if you put this in ordinary ice-cream fridge from commercial brands, this ice-cream will freeze and becomes rock hard. 

They come in different forms. This one is in Lagsana form. They squeeze out a few matching flavours into a shape of a lagsana, eat it fast before it melts :) It is one of the smoothest ice-cream I've tasted. ( note : It is low fat ! )

This one is in a Spaghetti form. In this picture, I ordered the Classic Vanilla Premium which is extremely nice. They'll squeeze it out of some tool and here you get, a weird looking ice-cream.

Its a nice place to chill out but a little far for some of us because Kota kemuning is near Shah Alam / Klang. It has Venice's pictures all over the wall. Pretty ?

Names you've never heard in your life, on the flavour name tag of the ice-cream.

They even have PIZZA ICE-CREAM. I'm yet to try that out. More pictures but lazy to upload.

Taman Titiwangsa

This was from a shooting session at Taman Titiwangsa in KL with my dad. We couldn't get some nice shots because that day the weather was cloudy. I'm still waiting for the next trip, going down KL with the train for some street photography. Anyone interested ? Currently there's 3 people who's interested who contacted me.

Well, sometimes, I realize, again, people tend to be unappreciated or taken for granted. Question is, how should one react or what should he / she do ? Food for thought.

Broga Hill

Finally, we manage to sort things out and organize a trip to Broga Hills :) Family trip yay ! ( 8 of us )

12th Sept 2010.

The guys, except for Kent, head over to LikMan's place to "rest" and "nap" and "recharge" at 9-ish. Who knows, we couldn't control ourselves but to play the PS2 and laptops. So, our "nap / recharge" session didn't work out. Kent got the girls at 2am and we met up at 2.30am and off we go in 1 car !!

Nigel manage to get his mom's big car so we 8 can fit inside. Jia Kent's GPS is a blonde and she suck because she confused us with all the ramps and flyovers in KL so we were like dunggu making U-turns here and there 3am in the morning. Hari Raya + wee hours makes traveling much better :)

We over shot the Broga Hill entrance because it's a palm tree area and we ended up at some dead ends and it was heck creepy. We had to ask someone for directions and it wasn't easy because I'm not sure if its really a human I'm talking to.

Our Family Car !! Dropped by Kajang 7-11 to get some coffee, redbull to recharge ourselves from our "napless" session and bought some snacks to picnic up there.

Bunch of monkeys in 7-11 making noise. I think the counter dude gonna kick us out anytime.

I lost count of the time taken to hike up because no one bother to lol.

We manage to reach the highest peak, the 3rd one for a better view. For that we have to like, climb rocks, serious shit climbing to get there. 

Yea I brought the tripod up and we manage to get a group photo this time. Set my tripod at some weirdest and awkward position and I had to run around on the tip of the rock which if i fall I'll end up 40ft under.

This is the exact same group that I hike Mount Kinabalu with !! awesomez isn't it.

Beautiful isn't it. 

The trip was awesome, the trekking was great. It wasn't tough at all compared to what we've been through in Sabah, Sarawak, and Mount Kinabalu. The grass was rather ticklish but overall, it was great. We had fun running around and chasing each other like lil kids. Despite the weight I was carrying, ( camera and lens ), most of us didn't felt tired going up and down this mountain. So this is achievable by almost everyone :)
