Gelataria

Me, WeiChun and LikMan headed down to Gelataria once again but this time, it was for wc's project. He needed some photos for his assignments. At the same time, we head down to taste those delicious mouth watering heart melting ice-cream from Italy. Trust me, I've bragged enough about them and they are still awesome. They have awesome flavours that tutti frutti doesn't have. This is in Kota Kemuning, for those who wants to get there contact me :)
These are some shots by me and edits by wc to show u the place.

Realize the ice-cream fridge doesn't have chunks of ice forming inside, there's no fog on the window, but it is -17 degrees. this is because they have to keep it extremely dry, unlike the ice-cream we get outside which is WET and humid. You got that right, the shop is air conditioned 24/7 to keep the air dry to match the weather in Italy. Apparently if you put this in ordinary ice-cream fridge from commercial brands, this ice-cream will freeze and becomes rock hard.

They come in different forms. This one is in Lagsana form. They squeeze out a few matching flavours into a shape of a lagsana, eat it fast before it melts :) It is one of the smoothest ice-cream I've tasted. ( note : It is low fat ! )

This one is in a Spaghetti form. In this picture, I ordered the Classic Vanilla Premium which is extremely nice. They'll squeeze it out of some tool and here you get, a weird looking ice-cream.

Its a nice place to chill out but a little far for some of us because Kota kemuning is near Shah Alam / Klang. It has Venice's pictures all over the wall. Pretty ?

Names you've never heard in your life, on the flavour name tag of the ice-cream.

They even have PIZZA ICE-CREAM. I'm yet to try that out. More pictures but lazy to upload.

Taman Titiwangsa

This was from a shooting session at Taman Titiwangsa in KL with my dad. We couldn't get some nice shots because that day the weather was cloudy. I'm still waiting for the next trip, going down KL with the train for some street photography. Anyone interested ? Currently there's 3 people who's interested who contacted me.

Well, sometimes, I realize, again, people tend to be unappreciated or taken for granted. Question is, how should one react or what should he / she do ? Food for thought.

Broga Hill

Finally, we manage to sort things out and organize a trip to Broga Hills :) Family trip yay ! ( 8 of us )
12th Sept 2010.
The guys, except for Kent, head over to LikMan's place to "rest" and "nap" and "recharge" at 9-ish. Who knows, we couldn't control ourselves but to play the PS2 and laptops. So, our "nap / recharge" session didn't work out. Kent got the girls at 2am and we met up at 2.30am and off we go in 1 car !!
Nigel manage to get his mom's big car so we 8 can fit inside. Jia Kent's GPS is a blonde and she suck because she confused us with all the ramps and flyovers in KL so we were like dunggu making U-turns here and there 3am in the morning. Hari Raya + wee hours makes traveling much better :)
We over shot the Broga Hill entrance because it's a palm tree area and we ended up at some dead ends and it was heck creepy. We had to ask someone for directions and it wasn't easy because I'm not sure if its really a human I'm talking to.

Our Family Car !! Dropped by Kajang 7-11 to get some coffee, redbull to recharge ourselves from our "napless" session and bought some snacks to picnic up there.

Bunch of monkeys in 7-11 making noise. I think the counter dude gonna kick us out anytime.

Look what weichun brought for this trip

Seductive? No

Willy got all pumped up and ready to Rock n Roll !!
I lost count of the time taken to hike up because no one bother to lol.
We manage to reach the highest peak, the 3rd one for a better view. For that we have to like, climb rocks, serious shit climbing to get there.

Yea I brought the tripod up and we manage to get a group photo this time. Set my tripod at some weirdest and awkward position and I had to run around on the tip of the rock which if i fall I'll end up 40ft under.
This is the exact same group that I hike Mount Kinabalu with !! awesomez isn't it.

Someone got sentimental and started drawing.

There, what we came for. It's coming up. A silhouette of teen n nige.

She felt tall for once.

Beautiful isn't it.

The trip was awesome, the trekking was great. It wasn't tough at all compared to what we've been through in Sabah, Sarawak, and Mount Kinabalu. The grass was rather ticklish but overall, it was great. We had fun running around and chasing each other like lil kids. Despite the weight I was carrying, ( camera and lens ), most of us didn't felt tired going up and down this mountain. So this is achievable by almost everyone :)

Shoes craze

This is a post about my shoes. I took the effort to dig out my shoes from the closet and take a photo of it 1 by 1. I was left alone at home on a Saturday and it's a public holiday, what to do? I just realized that I splash a lot of money on shoes. Maybe I'm a shoe guy :)
Well, I was really close to getting my hands on a Vans which cost me RM 260 and RM 190. But due to some difficulties (mum) yea i didn't get it. I couldn't find some of my old shoes to post it up as the "antique" section but this is all I could find.

Above : My Puma Ferrari White - RM 300 which served me a good 3 years

Above : this is how it looked like after 3 years old. Black and crumpled and old. RIP. I'm letting this shoe retire. Gonna find a replacement soon. ( VANS !!! )

Above : Got this Polo recently not too long, not too soon ago. Didn't wear this out much because I didn't want to dirty it. Not cheap tho.

Above : I got this shoe bcz it looks cute and i like the mushmallow thingy infront, and got discounted for it ;)

Above : this is my old Nike Air, retired and this thing took me through Sabah and Mount Kinabalu for 22 days of extreme hardcore expedition. May you RIP.

Above : Red Predator Adidas, this is the leather one that used to cost RM700 at launching price. Highest end. I got it off 50%. how cool rite. I love my sexy boots.

Above : My football boots came with 2 extra shoepad with weights infront for training. Wasn't heavy enough for me tho.

Above : Futsal shoe from Puma. All my old futsal shoes are somewhere in the garbage i can't find it. One was red, one was black.

Above : My REEF flip flops ! super comfy. Got it off during a clearance sale. Damn hell worth it.

Above : My brand new Nike Lunarlite / Flywire. Super cool green. I saw a red one tho. This cost me a bomb. Thank god for Raya sales.

Thats it for now. I've got a few missing shoes including my old futsal shoes, old tracking shoes, which all cost alot :( and ofcourse my 8yearold kikilala shoes :) I really think I spent alot on shoes, some are not cheap at all. Need to start saving money !

Lumix GF-1

Not very new in the family but about time to introduce him to the world. The "not-so-new" Lumix GF1 with Leica lens !!
Its super duper awesomely crazily madly sharp but the focusing is rubbish compared to those who uses DSLR but its really quick for a point-and-shoot camera, and the high ISO at night is totally useless. It has more noise than my pimple ( lol ). It takes really sharp and nice photos during the day, this lens by Leica is razor sharp and it takes nice portrait shots.  Should I save money for the AF-S 24-70 f/2.8 for my Nikon, it's a killer, so is the price.

Had a good time playing basketball after 6 years not playing. Was just fooling around with kent, phillip, nic, and others at taylor's lakeside campus, had wongkok for dinner inside. Chilled till 11pm before heading home and the view was really nice inside, at night. They have starbucks, Baskin Robins, Subway, WongKok IN the campus ! gosh. Wants to head down to KL for some street photography, those interested gimme a holler please.

Strawberry CheeseCake

Yesterday I think I ate too much in Tony Romas. Was eating with dad's friend's family. The biggest advantage about eating with parent's, uncles and aunties, you get to order food that you don't order when you're with friends. Like those really expensive ones. ( evil )
We literally ordered 6 starters for 10 person and each has a main course, and dad ordered some BBQ Rib to share, and my blardy rib-eye was filling enough for me. Ordered my favourite shrimp-cocktail. Damn.
And it was my sister's strawberry cheesecake above there for dessert. I had to drag myself out of the restaurant and back home. I felt like a pregnant lady for the night. It was good food tho.

Colours in Life

Above : I-City ( Nikon D300 )

I just love colours. Dad taught me how to shoot landscape that day when we went to Titiwangsa for some father-son time together. He had his and I had my camera during SUNSET and he was like, "training his son up for landscape photography". I learn alot. From there, I saw the beauty of colours again that made me daydream looking at those photos.
Looking at a sunset is similar to watching a person moving on. Life will have to keep going as time goes by. But when life drifted to a different division (sunset) and it gets tougher with the changes, look forward for the beauty of it because there's definitely something beautiful ahead in life (the moon will rise).
The only thing is, will you appreciate it. You'll only learn to appreciate when you loose something.
For me, I know a few who will be part of my life for sure and we will be in each other's life. We'll build this unbreakable bond of friendship, so strong we felt like family. Cheers to my brothers and sisters.
I am still yet to know who appreciates me because, it is human's nature to take things for granted.
So far, I've found mind. Have you ?
