Deadmau5

Deadmau5 in Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach, 7th May 2011 - One hell of a rave party. Solid. 

All I know is, I only paid RM 60 for my tickets ! woot ! The crowd is crazy, and the music was awesome. I would say that rave party by Deadmau5 was fun. Opening by Patrick Oliver, TV Rock, and Le Funk to start the evening. Strobe and Animal Rights was eargasmic. Although I'm not the biggest fan of Deadmau5, or a person who knows all his songs, I do enjoy most of the time and I would say, its a good night to rave even if you don't know who's on the stage.

The full LED concert was amazing as the presentation was stunning. LED all over that mouse's head and a full LED backdrop as well as a full LED stage. Constantly entertained by amazing LED performance and illustrations.

Was working for Fiona's Birthday Party @ JW Marriott KL
DJ XU from Lapsap was spinning and it was awesome ! The Liquor and Cigars are FREEFLOW !! Boss made sure WE had drinks on our table at all times, everytime she comes by, we gotta down our drink. She "bribed" the waiter to make sure my cup is always filled with liquor. I can say, I was pretty tipsy that night. The theme for the night was MAFIA. So everyone had to dress up like one. I know I look nothing like one thanks to my kiddo face but the ladies and gentlemen's there spent a lot buying their outfits. It was an expensive birthday party. It was really fun. I enjoyed.

2nd Home

I've been staying back in campus pretty much lately, spending more time there than being at home. I'm sure the enthusiasm won't last for long but at least, I enjoy skipping the jam home staying back there with friends either doing our work or just plainly crapping all night long. I can say, the environment is pretty nice at night.

Haven't been eating properly or having a proper diet for this week because I'm broke, trying to control my expenditure now. Gummy bears are addictive shit man !

I can say, I'm enjoying Uni life now. Studying is a stressful thing, but I find the fun of being around people to share it. My class is made up of mostly people younger than me but, its all good. Its fun. 

Surreal Moments

Been staying back in the library in Taylors alot lately, it's almost like my 2nd home. I spend 3/4 of my day here practically. I would like to spend more time being at home now. Have not been eating properly nor having a decent diet because I'm just too lazy to find something good to eat. I'm also partially broke =/
I need more jobs so I can feed myself and also to get my new laptop, camera lens and perhaps a new body.

I will start climbing and make photography my hobby as a way to earn me some money. I am being mentored by a friend who is being mentored so I am indirectly being mentored twice lol. Anyways, I am glad to have someone in this field who is already quite good at it to guide me through, bringing me around giving me opportunities to shoot events and stuff that people don't normally get. I would say its a good experience and exposure to me.

I think I'm getting old, i don't feel the madness of getting as wild as before. Not sure if its due to the stress and pressure developed being in Uni or the people around that has killed the mood. Nowadays I'll need a couple of bottles at the end of the week to let loose with my buddies after going through a rough week. Not the clubbing kinda shit anymore but we'll just sit at a bar for hours and just drink and laugh our ass off [ LMAO ].


The one who cares the most will be the one who gets mad when you make mistakes. Those who doesn't matter will not give a shit.

A few days ago, had a job in Genting Highlands as Paparazi along with Nick and Phil. Went up right after class as it was a company dinner function up there. It was a pretty big dinner. We manage to complete that shoot by 8.30pm and it's such a waste if we go back. So we stayed and did some further experimental shots with Nick and Phil. We three turn out to do alot of experimental shots together, it's always fun. Only thing missing is a proper SUBJECT. Near the helipad there's this construction going on, the place caught our attention because as we look out, its a view of KL. The weather up there was chilly but awesome because we had enough heat down here in KL. 

People tend to like challenges to achieve, because something that comes easily, will most probably go away as easily 

Looking back

I'm a photo guy. I look back at photos regularly to remind myself, and also to remember those fond memories. This was a really random impromptu trip up to Genting one night after a midnight movie with the gang. Note, I still have my old Beiber hair there. Plainly just to chill and play guitar. If only everyone can live a simple life sometimes and keep worries away.

I've got a friend, he goes into Nandos and orders 1/4 chicken as : " one over four chicken please " I lmao-ed.

Realised how those extra sauces spiced up your meal most of the time? Something new enlightens your taste buds but don't forget the original taste of it. People should really spice up their routines to look forward in life but when you start to forget the originality, it means you're going too far away from it.

After Nick's birthday dinner, me, sheena, phil, and nick decided to just go to Pusat Bandar Damansara to do some shoots since we got our equipments with us. It was 1am in the midnight, so .. no worries about traffic. This was taken above HELP uni college. That bridge.

It was an experimental shot with 2 speedlights and we just play around. This particular shot was a remake of an accidental shot ( which was ugly ) and we quite liked it, so we improved on it. This is just one of many shots we took that night.

Its been awhile, and I came back with a sudden rush of urge to post. Have been slacking for so long before this, spending my days playing, fooling around, partying, performed at gigs, birthdays, etc.

Uni finally started, have to tone down a lil' now. 

Lets go through with a little updates, it was Nick's birthday last Sunday, so we headed to Delicious Bangsar to celebrate Superwantanmian's 20th birthday.

A Dull Life

As I was strolling down Jonker street, this particular rack caught my attention. The colour oustands itself in that very dull corner of Jonker Street in Melaka. 

Sometimes, when times were at it's worst, good things will happen. - Inside of you, something's up your chest, you speak out. When you do, you have a real good buddy to listen to you, and that's a blessing for all the shits that had happened to you.

In the prettiest picture you might find flaws that disgust you, but at least you see it.

A friend once told me - Having a down time makes you grow. I see that it makes sense to me. When life's all too perfect for you, you don't have empathy. 

I'm yet to install photoshop since i reformatted my comp. I can't do editing and my pictures will not have my signature for now.

Tumble what ?

What is with people and Tumblr ? I am such a Tumblr noob but it sounds interesting. Perhaps I should give it a start since it sounds fun. 

I spent my Sunday afternoon cleaning up my desk for more working space, it was interesting to discover what  kinda garbage I've been keeping all this while. 

- 10 Euro Dollar folded under my pencil cup.

- a large amount of CDs I used to burn before I bought my Ipod.

My new workstation / gamestation. My house got an extra computer screen so I just plugged it in and .. tadaaa. so much cooler rite 

I plan to get a nicer sound system for my room with a proper amplifier and separate woofers and speakers and twitters. Hopefully I'm rich enough to get some synth keyboards or some MIDI controllers to play around. 

Keep that Burnin'

This was pretty long ago but I finally manage to get the initiative to post it up. It was a BBQ session among us friends before Lik Man left to Germany. It's like our very last meal all together so he decided to make us some delicious cooking before he left. He with his culinary skills managed our "dinner" that night with his special mix and marinations. I helped him out as a noobie / assistant since morning !

We wanted it to be merry so we invited people. Since it was in Shiat Teen's house, her sisters invited friends. We invited our friends as well =) Go through the pictures to see who's there.

this was MY very own secret recipe. Special Jun Mash Potato. You'll love it. Cruz sapu alot i bet.

The final outcome. We had no mixer so we had to hand-beat it till it's so fluffy. We have standards kay when it comes to food. [ served with sour cream ]

Exhausted

I've been extremely hardcore lately. Trying to tone up and get rid of those fats in gym.

Had 2 futsals in 1 day which killed me. Played from afternoon - evening, and night - midnight.

I need a new futsal shoe. Mine is gonna explode soon. 

I watched Paranormal Activity 2 and it was quite a good low-budget movie. It was exciting and despite the slow build up, it was quite good. Don't expect too much from it and it'll turn out just nice. I remember how we once watched the 1st part in William's house and everyone was holding and hugging on each other with pillows everywhere in his TV room. This time, we were in the cinema and yes, they did shout. I DID NOT.

Last few moments of 2010

A day where people flips their calender realizing it's the end to it. It's time for a new one. 

People will crowd in the most happening places just to celebrate the start of a New Year. Counting down to watch fireworks lighting up the sky, with its beautiful colours. Often it is a mesmerizing event for most people. 

Shiat Teen's Sister's Boyfriend's Father [ sister's future father-in-law ] has invited us to this launch party of the Cyberview Lodge Resort in Cyber Jaya for New Year's Eve. Credits to Uncle Ngiam. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't get the platform couch sitting beside the runway / dance floor. It was a really beautiful that night even though I've not been there during the day before they transformed the outdoor garden area into a clubbing zone. They have colour spotlights everywhere surrounded by trees and a POOL! It is indeed a nice resort. I love how every single tree is lighted up.

The couch is positioned in such a way that we can lean back and look up to enjoy their very own firework show or to sit back and relax to enjoy the fashion show that night. I love the view behind us. It's a realy nice garden area with a pool.

Of course. How can we not have this during a party like this rite. When the girls were busy going crazy, we the guys were left back on the sits alone. We then got more drinks for ourselves. It wasn't many of us so we just had 2 Chivas and 1 Black Label and 1 Jug of beer. Spent RM 110 that night. Shit me
